Zon Sonus V Fretless

The neck is actually not wood, but graphite. Never warps, twists or goes out of tune. No dead spots and perfectly flat.

The standard issue Sonus pickups are single coil and subject to the dreaded 60-cycle hum (especially in my garage). To overcome the problem Joe replaced mine with custom Bartolini stacked humbuckers (standard issue on some other Zon models). They work great, have the same great tone - and maybe even a little more punch than the single coil p/u's. Thanks Joe!

Electronics are active (made by Bartolini) and the controls are dual (stacked) 2x volume in front 2x tone toward the back) which gives a very clean layout.
