The vintage-style Ibanez AVNB1FE fretless acoustic bass is another wonderful instrument from the Ibanez Artwood series of acoustic bass guitars. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top, this parlor-style acoustic bass puts out an impressive level of volume and rich tone Ñ the type you typically find in acoustic basses at a higher price point. The AVNB1FE features a mahogany back, sides, and neck with a stained maple fretless fingerboard with faint (almost invisible) markings showing fret positions. It has a Fishman Sonicore pickup that captures the vintage tone of the AVNB1FE beautifully when amplified.

This compact parlor-style instrument is the perfect size for informal jams or just sitting on the couch exploring ideas. The solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back, sides, and neck deliver the kind of tone that you normally hear from an aged instrument - full-bodied low end and an even sustain in the treble.
