Agile Harm-1

"Bang for the buck" is the name of the game here. "Agile" is a a Korean brand imported exclusively by Rondo Music in New Jersey.

For the money, the quality is stunning, and Kurt at Rondo is the King of customer service (how he manages to answer emails in his sleep I'll never know!).

I liked this model because (a) it's an original design, not a copy, (b) because it just happened to have exactly the set of features I like, and (c) it was dirt cheap!

One piece mahogany set neck with ebony fretboard (no dots). The body is also all Mahogany, semi hollow (but like a Tele Thinline, not a 335), and stained cherry. The pickups are P90 single coil type and all the controls are down below and behind the bridge, which is a fixed tune-a-matic. The controls are two volumes (like Gibson) and a pickup selector like a Fender.

The stock pickups have been changed for a pair of Lindy Fralin P90s (-10/+5) with black covers. Now it sounds as good as it plays!

Cool Features:

    - Original design (even the headstock!)
    - Nice action and playability
    - Cross between a Gibson LP
      Junior and a Tele Thinline
    - Real ebony "dot-less" fretboard
    - The perfect control config
    - Ships with both bone and graphite nut
    - 2xP90's (...now Lindy Fralins!)
    - A steal !!
